Hi, guys! It was so good to visit and get a sense for what you’re working on and looking for…I wanted to follow up with some links and resources that we talked about on Friday. I’m not hard to find, so reach out if you need anything!
Deako Controls
I mentioned these for low-cost smart home lighting controls. The basics of Deako are they have simple to install back boxes, you can start with basic switches or dimmers and upgrade them to smart dimming controllable via whatever smart home backbone your client likes. I did a video on these guys a couple of months ago.
Luminii Hom
I mentioned that Luminii (one of my favorite manufacturers) invested in residential design in a big way in the pandemic. They developed an entire micro-site designed to help architects design high end residential lighting details. See below for my round up of Luminii Hom, or you can just head straight to the website.

Green Light Alliance
I just wanted to make sure I included a link to the Green Light Alliance as I think they are well aligned to your ethos as a firm.
USAI Showroom and Residential Resources
I mentioned the USAI showroom in SoHo. It’s really worth checking out if you have some time. I’ve done a couple of walk through videos of the space.
The USAI Collabatory is more than a Showroom it’s a Design Tool
Then I went back to showroom to talk Little Ones.
What I forgot to mention was USAI developed it’s own guide to residential lighting that might be interesting. It’s called USAI at Home and it’s meant to narrow down the many choices USAI has to offer to focus in on what’s most commonly used in residential applications.
