Why Now Is the Time to Bring the Circular Economy to The Lighting Industry
Energy efficiency was the first wave of making lighting more sustainable. The next wave is going to tackle embodied carbon.

Watch the Teaser for my Upcoming Series - The Importance of Light
It’s important that we start talking about light and its importance beyond the familiar circle of other lighting and design professionals and engage critical decision-makers. This series is intended to start that conversation.

Where we are is not where we are going
The day-to-day battle over value engineering won’t stop tomorrow, but we also won’t be here forever. So, I’ll be talking to anyone who will listen about the value of amazing light.

Getting Out of the Shed
The shed started as an adaptation to the pandemic, but as the city starts to reopen, I think it’s going to remain a powerful tool for educating my specifiers on new products.

The Slow Return to Normal-ish

With LEDucation going virtual, and no other trade events happening in the area through the end of the year, it's time to think about how we can keep your designs fresh with new products and options. Whether that means booking a hybrid presentation, home delivery of a sample, or a zoom call, I'm here to keep you going.

Remembering What I Do
Right now, it feels like life right now is lived from zoom call to zoom call. So when one of my designers emailed with a question about how to get light across a 20-foot ceiling, it was a breath of fresh air... Oh yeah! Helping designers! Helping make cool light! That's what I normally do! So I sat at my iPad and make the above sketch and it was rudimentary, and fun and it brought me back to what I really love to do.
