Food insecurity (I call it hunger) in America is a cause I really became passionate about during the pandemic. To me the idea that any American is ever suffering from food insecurity or hunger is insane in a nation with the kind of resources that we have when it comes to food and capital.

Feeding America is the nation's largest network of food banks. 200 food banks are supported by the Feeding America organization. This is the one I personally donate to every month
Midwest Food Bank is a national network of food banks serving communities across the United States
1.4 million New Yorkers don’t know where the next meal is coming from. The Food Bank for NYC is here to help.
Nearly 1.1 million residents of NJ are food insecure, which includes about 270,000 Children. The Community Food Bank of NJ delivers after-school meals to hungry kids and helps with job training and other programs.
