Book Your Virtual Lighting Consult
Most plans arrive with a grid of can lights dotted across every ceiling. It looks tidy on paper, but it isn't how you live in a home. In this session we go through your plans together and I tell you what to keep, what to cut, and what's missing.
Who it's for
Homeowners building or renovating who haven't locked in the lighting plan
Anyone handed a builder's default layout who suspects it's wrong
Homeowners who want expert direction before talking to their electrician or interior designer
How it works
Book your session. Send your plans and a rough furniture layout ahead of time.
We meet over video. I share my screen and mark up your plans live as we walk through each room.
You get the notes. Within a few days you receive your annotated sketches, a written summary, and product links.
You decide what's next. Take the notes to your team, book more time, or step up to a full CAD layout.
What's included
A live review of your actual plans, room by room
A specific fixture type and placement for every space, not general advice
Cuts as well as additions: fixtures that don't earn their place come out
Art and wall lighting that adapts as your collection changes
Table and floor lamps planned into the scheme, with switching to match
Dimming and controls guidance
Rough-in and future-proofing advice, so you can wire for sconces now or plan for ceiling depth and insulation-rated fixtures
Notes you can hand straight to your builder, electrician, interior designer, or low-voltage integrator
Annotated sketches, a written summary, and product links or cut sheets
What a session can change
Preserve Your View. We plan interior light so it doesn't wipe out your view.
Light Your Art and Walls. Make your walls glow with flexible solutions that make your home feel warm and inviting.
Dining tables. Overhead light alone makes faces look harsh, so we add soft light at eye level.
Primary Bath. Let’s create simple luxury, not an airport. By lighting vertically everything softens and your bathroom feels welcoming.
Kitchens. Countertop and backsplash finishes change where the light should come from.
Where not to spend. Let’s not over light spaces that don’t need it.
Why work with me
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with architects, lighting designers, and manufacturers every day. I don't sell you fixtures. I tell you what the space needs, and what it doesn't.
