Introducing Senso!

Introducing Senso!

Senso is now part of the Luminii family and as such, me and the team at SDA are just now getting to know them. In the video above I talk about the Leto 11 family of cylinders. What I really like about Senso is they think in terms of families of fixtures. So the Leto 11 can be a pendant, surface mounted, wall mounted or even a track head. And even within the cylinder line there are downlight, adjustable and asymmetric options.

The optics make for soft distributions of light using Xicato as the lens and as you can see in the video the glare and quietness of the aperture are pretty good given the size of the cylinders. There are way too many cylinders and options for cylinders for me to cover in this post, but you can head to the Senso site for more. Senso also offers downlights that are complimentary to the cylinder families meaning you can consistent light quality across the project.

One last thing…

I really like how Senso handles the surface mount detail. Here’s a clip from the installation guide on the Leto 11 Mini S. By remote mounting the driver, Senso provides a mini canopy that the body of the cylinder can screw onto allowing for a tight fit.
