Thank You For Supporting Delivered Lumens in 2020

When I started Delivered Lumens in April of 2019, I, of course, had no idea what would come less than a year later. I launched DL to communicate with the designers, architects, and engineers when I couldn't visit in person. The trend I saw was that knowledge workers' time and attention were already in short supply. The days of simply walking into a designer's office with a sample under your arm unannounced were long gone. Delivered Lumens would be a digital supplement to my efforts in person.

Then 2020 happened, and the Coronavirus pandemic made all of our work remote and digital. I'm so glad I'd already built this platform. I'm happy to report that since the pandemic hit in March, Delivered Lumens has been visited 6.4 thousand times with over 10 thousand page views. Those numbers wouldn't keep a media empire afloat, but that's not the purpose. The purpose is to keep my designers informed, and those stats serve as validation for me that the efforts I've made to engage you have been worthwhile.

So, THANK YOU.

None of us know what the next year will bring, but I remain optimistic as vaccines roll out that by the summer, we'll be somewhere close to normal, and maybe, just maybe, we'll be back to seeing each other in person at least some of the time.

But in the near term, I've been generating a collection of content for the cold winter months. When you get back from a much deserved holiday break (please take a break!), you can expect the usual combination of shed demonstrations, blog posts, factory videos, and live training sessions. I'll apologize in advance for all of the emails you'll find in your inbox whenever you decide to check it again.
