Introducing Feelux Micro - Stunning Display Lighting

Happy New Year! In this week’s Coffee Break, we’re diving into the Feelux Micro Series—a compact, cost-effective family of fixtures designed for product and display lighting. If you work with retail cases, museum exhibits, or any millwork where space is tight but presentation matters, the Micro Series delivers clean, versatile illumination in an impressively small package.

The Micro Series is built around a 1.2-watt light engine, offering nominal output around 80 lumens at roughly 65+ lumens per watt. Despite its tiny footprint, it provides a surprising amount of punch and control for highlighting signage, merchandise, and decorative elements. Color temperatures are available in 2000K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, making it easy to match the tone of your environment—from warm, intimate displays to crisp, neutral showcases.

Feelux supplies a thoughtful sample kit that’s compact enough for an office shelf yet comprehensive enough to demonstrate the entire family. The kit highlights three form factors:

  • Recessed downlight: Ultra-shallow, compression-fit design that installs cleanly with no visible hardware. Perfect for discreet, minimal presentations where the fixture should disappear.

  • Pole-mounted accent: A sleek stem (about 10 inches) with a subtle snoot for added optical control. Great for elevating the source above a display and fine-tuning light with a refined look.

  • Surface-mounted spotlight: Ideal for mounting on a cabinet floor or ceiling and re-aiming as displays change. This is a flexible choice for retail environments that frequently update layouts.

Optically, the point-source versions offer interchangeable lenses with 18°, 32°, and 45° beam angles. In short-run applications—think 18 to 24 inches from target—these beams provide satisfying “pop” without over-lighting. The recessed downlight leans toward a Lambertian distribution, delivering a soft, even effect that keeps attention on the product rather than the hardware.

Installation is as straightforward as it gets. The 24V system uses compression fittings across the family—no special brackets, locks, or bulky hardware—streamlining both setup and maintenance. Cable routing is clean and intuitive, and the shallow build makes it easy to integrate into tight millwork. Finishes in black, white, gold, and gray help the fixtures visually blend or subtly accent the display.

The Micro Series also features some glare control. The small spots feature edge shielding that naturally conceals the light source unless you’re looking directly up into the fixture. That means less visual noise and more focus on your products, which is essential in retail and museum settings.

If you need premium finishes, locking mechanisms, or high-end architectural detailing, there are other systems to consider. But if you’re looking for a harmonious, budget-friendly family of recessed, surface, and pole-mounted lights that deliver clean results in small spaces, Feelux Micro is an excellent solution.

Cut sheets are available on Feelux’s website. As always, send feedback on the video and we’ll buy you a coffee for taking the time to review it. Happy New Year—we’re excited to be back with more Coffee Breaks and can’t wait to see you again next week!
